DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
We believe that our students need to gain some life skills in order to become self-efficient individuals. Assuming that one day they will be on their own and will have to do the everyday tasks themselves, it is crutial that they have some life skills such as cooking, doing the laundry, managing the budget and even sewing a broken button. While trying to be a self-efficient individuals, we have to take care our planet and its sustainability, as well. That’s why we are going to pay attention to recycling and upcycling issues while gaining life skills such as cooking.
We expect our students to develop 21st Century Skills and Key Competences through the project activities. We also believe that they will have a chance to experience peer learning and broaden their horizons with the help of their peers from different countries and cultures in the project activities.
OUR AIMS
We expect our students to gain some life skills such as cooking, doing the laundry and other chores in order to become a self-efficient individual.
Developing 21st century skills and key competences such problem solving, critical thinking, using creativity and imagination, collaboration, leadership, being an effective member of a team, taking initiative, literacy-information, media and technology, and social skills are also expected skills through our project activities.
We hope our students will gain critical and analytical thinking skills while trying to gain life skills such as cooking and sewing.
We hope our students will gain communication and collaboration skills as they are going to meet and interact with their peers while doing the project activities.
We hope our students will improve their creativity as they are going do the project activities with their imaginations and web tools.
We hope our students to gain global awareness, multi cultural literacy and humanitarianism as they are going to take part in mixed country teams with their foreign friends. They will also have a chance to improve their communication in a language skills as the language of the project is English.
We hope our students will imrove digital skills as they are going to use web tools while implementing the project activities.
EXPECTED RESULTS
We expect our students to be self-efficient people to survive. Our students are also expected to care about the sustainability of our planet to survive .
Developing 21st century skills and key competences such as problem solving, critical thinking, using creativity and imagination, collaboration, leadership, being an effective member of a team, initiative, literacy-information, media and technology, and social skills are also anticipated with the help of project activities.
We are planning a final product and it will be decided in the opening webinar of the project by the project partners.
